Overview
Indonesian archery teams achieved significant success in international and domestic competitions during late 2026.
In August, the Indonesian para-archery team won the overall title at the Para-meter Archery Indonesia Open in Surakarta. The team secured two gold medals and one silver medal, with Ken Swagumilang winning both an individual title and a mixed team gold. The event was organized by the National Paralympic Committee of Indonesia to prepare athletes for the 2026 Asian Para Games and the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics.
Following this, in September, the Indonesian recurve archery team performed strongly at the Singapore Archery Open. The team earned five gold, three silver, and one bronze medal across recurve and compound disciplines. Notable achievements included individual gold medals for Riau Ega Agata Salsabilla and Diananda Choirunisa, as well as gold medals in both the men’s and women’s team categories. This competition served as a trial for the 2026 Asian Games.
