Indonesian Attorney General's Office launches simultaneous asset auction

The Asset Recovery Agency (BPA) of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office has launched a simultaneous auction of confiscated goods across Indonesia. The auction event is scheduled to run for five days, from August 10 to August 14, 2026.

Head of the BPA, Patris Yusrian Jaya, stated that the auction includes thousands of items ranging from mobile phones to land and buildings. The lowest starting bid is recorded at Rp3,000 for a mobile phone, while the highest is a plot of land and building from the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office, valued at approximately Rp9.11 billion.

The total potential for state asset recovery from this auction is projected to reach approximately Rp289.4 billion. Patris emphasized that the initiative aims to provide education to the public regarding the auction process while ensuring transparency and integrity in recovering assets for the state and its citizens.
