Indonesian Customs expands support for tobacco makers and UMKM exporters
Customs officers in Malang intensified assistance for legally operating tobacco producers, holding a consultancy visit to CV Arken Indonesia’s factory in Bululawang on 18 June. Pitoyo Pribadi, head of the Customs information and counselling unit, said the program provides up‑to‑date regulatory guidance and operational help to ensure compliance with excise rules and improve competitiveness.
In the provinces of Bangka Belitung, Customs offices in Tanjungpandan and Pangkalpinang partnered with other agencies to aid micro, small and medium‑size enterprises (UMKM) seeking export markets. Activities included a customs‑taxation booth at the Belitung Expo 2026 and workshops for local producers such as Vinz Kitchen and Snack 168, offering advice on export procedures, product certification, IMEI registration and other customs requirements.
