Joint security raids conducted at detention centers in Surabaya and Surakarta have resulted in the seizure of various prohibited items.

In Surabaya, a collaborative operation involving the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the National Police (Polri), and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) targeted the Binadharma and Chandrapura residential blocks. Authorities recovered 53 prohibited items, including 22 lighters, 10 metal razors, six makeshift electrical outlets, six glass objects, three cutters, knives, cables, rope, a makeshift heating tool, and earphones. Tristiantoro Adi Wibowo, Head of Rutan Kelas I Surabaya, stated the raid aims to strengthen security and detect potential disturbances early.

Similarly, a joint raid at Rutan Kelas I Surakarta involving the BNN, TNI, and Polri led to the seizure of items such as clothes hangers, lighters, glasses, iron bars, razors, glass, bolts, pens, nails, paper clips, sandpaper, and rings. While several items were confiscated to prevent misuse, officials confirmed that no narcotics or mobile phones were found during the Surakarta inspection.
