Indonesia rolls out new train timetable, airport bus routes and mobile driving‑license services

The commuter rail (KRL) line between Yogyakarta and Solo will run on Thursday, 23 July 2026 with fares of Rp 8,000, offering multiple morning and afternoon departures from Tugu Station.

Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) will operate daily DAMRI shuttle buses on Wednesday, 22 July 2026, connecting the airport with key points in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, including Sleman City Hall, Condongcatur Terminal, a DAMRI pool, the Trans Jogja Gamping stop and the DAMRI station, at a fixed fare of Rp 80,000.

The Indonesian National Police traffic directorates are providing mobile driver‑license (SIM) services. In Gunungkidul, the SIM Keliling program will be held on Wednesday, 22 July 2026 at Toserba Sambipitu, Patuk, allowing residents to renew licenses without visiting a Satpas. In Jakarta, the Polda Metro Jaya will host SIM Keliling kiosks on Wednesday at five locations: Mall Grand Cakung (East Jakarta), LTC Glodok (North Jakarta), Universitas Trilogi parking (South Jakarta), Mall Ciputra (West Jakarta) and the Post Office parking at Lapangan Banteng (Central Jakarta). Required documents include KTP, the current SIM and health test results, with renewal fees of Rp 80,000 for SIM A and Rp 75,000 for SIM C.
