Indonesian Haji Pilgrims Return Safely, One Remains Under Care in Saudi Arabia

A group of 193 pilgrims from Pasaman Barat, part of Haji Kloter 10, arrived at Minangkabau International Airport on 14 June 2026 and were welcomed by the regent and local officials. One pilgrim from the original 194‑person contingent remains in Saudi Arabia for medical treatment, with his return postponed pending recovery.

In South Sulawesi, Governor Andi Sudirman Sulaiman greeted 392 pilgrims of Haji Kloter 21 at the Makassar Haji dormitory. He praised their safe return and urged them to apply the lessons of the pilgrimage in daily life, emphasizing moral improvement and increased Quran study. The group comprised 274 women and 118 men.

Both events highlight the successful completion of this year’s Haji season and the coordination between regional authorities and Indonesia’s Ministry of Religious Affairs.
