Indonesian Hajj Authority Urges Pilgrims to Preserve Stamina for 2026 Hajj
KH Cholil Nafis, deputy chair of the Indonesian Ulema Council's Musyrif Diny, told Indonesian pilgrims for the 2026 hajj to limit non‑essential physical activities such as sightseeing and walking during the waiting period before the peak rites.
He said stamina is crucial for the demanding rituals at Arafah, Muzdalifah and Mina (collectively referred to as Armuzna) and advised more time spent in indoor worship, zikr, and iktihad, adequate rest, and balanced nutrition.
He also warned against careless phone filming, especially content that infringes privacy or serves as advertisement, urging pilgrims to avoid “flexing” with cameras to preserve the spiritual merit of the pilgrimage.
