Indonesian institutions launch MSME support through credit and export training

Various Indonesian institutions are implementing initiatives to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). PT BPR Bank Kulon Progo has distributed approximately Rp420 billion in credit to support various sectors, including trade, agriculture, livestock, and home industries. The bank offers specific programs such as the SUPER KeRISKu micro-credit, which features interest rates of 0.5% flat per month and credit ceilings up to Rp100 million, to help local businesses scale up.

In a separate effort to expand global market access, PT Pertamina (Persero) is providing export and product promotion training for its MSME partners. Conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade’s Export Human Resources Training Center, the program aims to prepare participants for the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2026. This initiative is part of Pertamina’s ongoing 'UMK Go Global' program, designed to build the competitiveness of local businesses in international markets.
