Indonesian police apprehend motorcycle thieves in Bekasi and Lampung

Police in West Java captured three men suspected of stealing motorcycles in Bekasi after a search lasting more than a month. The suspects, identified as SI, NK and S, were linked to a theft at Perumahan Mutiara Citra Residence II and were arrested after investigators examined CCTV footage and traced their movements, including the capture of SI in Karawang on June 8.

In Lampung Barat, police pursued two thieves who had stolen a farmer's Honda Beat. During the chase, a police vehicle struck the stolen bike, sending the rider plunging about 10 metres into a ravine. The incident unfolded after the victims reported the theft and officers intercepted the suspects near Fajar Bulan.
