Indonesian Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo’s ‘Presisi Polri’ Book Launched

A new book titled *Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Sang Arketek Presisi Polri* was launched in Jakarta on 24 June 2026. The event was attended by senior political analyst Boni Hargens, Nahdlatul Ulama youth leader Ali Ramadhan and other officials. The volume, over 300 pages, chronicles Listyo Sigit Prabowo’s career since his appointment as Kapolri in January 2021 and outlines his “Presisi Polri” reform concept, which he describes as a holistic transformation built on three pillars – predictive analytics, responsibilitas (effective, humane response) and transparency‑justice.

Boni Hargens said the vision “is a holistic transformation that serves as the compass for modern police policy and culture.” Ali Ramadhan added that the book “provides an analytical framework for the police in facing democratic disruption and future challenges, including the Grand Strategy 2025‑2045.” The launch also featured a prologue written by Hargens and a discussion of past large‑scale protests in 2025 and the police’s strategic response.

The publication aims to reinforce public trust in the Indonesian National Police by detailing reforms intended to make the force more predictive, accountable and just.
