Indonesian police provide mobile SIM and Samsat services

Various regional police departments in Indonesia are providing mobile services for driver's license (SIM) renewals and vehicle tax payments (Samsat Keliling).

In Yogyakarta, Polda DIY is operating mobile SIM services at the PJR Prambanan Office in Sleman. Additionally, SIM Corners are available at Jogja City Mall and Ramai Mall. Other scheduled locations for October 2026 include various village offices in Sleman and Bantul.

In the Jakarta metropolitan area, Polda Metro Jaya is offering mobile SIM services in East Jakarta (Duren Sawit) and West Jakarta (Kebon Jeruk) for SIM A and SIM C renewals. Requirements include a valid KTP, original SIM, and proof of health and psychological tests.

Furthermore, Samsat Keliling services are available across eight areas in the Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Detabek) regions. These mobile units facilitate annual vehicle tax payments (PKB) and mandatory accident fund contributions (SWDKLLJ). Residents are advised to bring original identification and vehicle documents to these locations.
