Indonesian mobile police administrative services

Indonesian regional police departments continue to provide mobile services for driver’s license (SIM) renewals and vehicle tax payments (Samsat Keliling).

In Yogyakarta, services are operated at the PJR Prambanan Office in Sleman, as well as at SIM Corners in Jogja City Mall and Ramai Mall. Scheduled locations for October 2026 include various village offices in Sleman and Bantul.

In the Jakarta metropolitan area, Polda Metro Jaya offers mobile SIM renewal services for Type A and Type C licenses in East Jakarta (Duren Sawit) and West Jakarta (Kebon Jeruk). Requirements include presenting an original SIM, a photocopy of the e-KTP, and passing physical, mental health, and simulator tests.

Regarding vehicle taxation, Polda Metro Jaya has deployed mobile Samsat services across ten locations within the Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jadetabek) regions. Specific sites include JICC Senayan in Jakarta Pusat, Alun-Alun Cibodas and Ayodya Apartment in Tangerang, and various locations in Serpong, Ciledug, Ciputat, Kelapa Dua, Bekasi, Depok, and Cinere. Notably, no service is available in Bekasi Regency.

To utilize these mobile tax services, residents must bring original documents, including their ID card (KTP), vehicle ownership book (BPKB), and vehicle registration certificate (STNK), along with photocopies. These units are designated for annual motor vehicle tax payments; five-year STNK renewals and license plate changes must still be processed at permanent Samsat offices.
