Indonesian universities expand academic partnerships and certifications
Several Indonesian higher education institutions are reporting advancements in academic cooperation and professional certification.
Institut Asyifa Indonesia (IASI) marked its first anniversary by announcing plans to strengthen partnerships with local governments in Banten, West Java, and Yogyakarta. Rector Dr. Mahmudin stated that the institution aims to become a nationally recognized campus by improving education quality, accreditation, and study programs. These collaborations are intended to provide students with access to scholarships, internships, and employment opportunities.
Meanwhile, UIN Antasari has expanded its professional certification capabilities. The university's Professional Certification Institute (LSP) recently recommended 45 new assessors as competent, bringing the institution's total to 69 assessors. The university also reported the successful conclusion of the Borneo International Academic Forum (BIAF) and noted that face-to-face classes at Campus 2 Banjarbaru are expected to resume after September 24, following adjustments due to local land fires.
