Indonesian universities launch 2026 student orientation programs
Indonesian universities have commenced their 2026 new student orientation programs, known as PKKMB.
At the Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Padangpanjang, the second day of orientation focused on academic insights, student organizations, and national awareness. Key sessions addressed the importance of adapting to the digital era and the prevention of sexual violence on campus to ensure a safe and inclusive environment.
Meanwhile, the Faculty of Computer Science at Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) welcomed 992 new students from 34 provinces. The four-day program, themed ‘Empowering Resilient Students to Grow, Adapt, and Create Impact Together’, aims to prepare students for Indonesia’s digital transformation through academic mastery and personal resilience.
