Indonesian Universities Launch Digital Soft‑Skill Programs for Students
Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang (UNIMMA) organized a personal‑branding workshop for 148 SMK Muhammadiyah Bandongan students. The two‑day session emphasized communication, professionalism and the use of social‑media portfolios to prepare participants for Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) placements.
Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) held a community‑focused training on “Soft Skills for the 21st Century” at SKB 16 Jakarta. About 30 learners received instruction on digital communication, personal branding, video editing with CapCut, graphic design with Canva, and how to identify AI‑generated misinformation. Both programs aim to equip young Indonesians with the soft‑skill and digital competencies demanded by an AI‑driven job market.
