Indonesian Universities Launch Skill‑Boost Initiatives for Students and Community Enterprises
Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM) showcased its industry‑ready approach when student Rizqi Ardiansah completed a three‑month internship (2 March–1 June 2026) in the Network and Cyber Security Division of the Ministry of Marine and Fisheries. He worked on configuration, maintenance and monitoring of the agency’s digital infrastructure, saying the experience “gave me confidence and a clear understanding of professional standards in the workplace.”
Meanwhile, Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) organized a training session on product‑packaging design for members of the Bank Sampah Go Green Greeny in Bojong Gede, Bogor, on 16 June 2026. Led by lecturer Sri Wasiyanti and featuring input from bank‑sampah leader Indah Purwandani, the workshop taught participants how to create attractive, informative packaging to increase the marketability and value of recycled‑goods products. Ten bank‑sampah members and UBSI students participated, gaining skills in material selection, branding and marketing strategy.
