Indonesia weather outlook for June 28 2026: scattered rain and Central Java drought

The national weather agency BMKG forecast light rain for several districts in Ambon on Sunday, with temperatures ranging from 25 °C to 32 °C and humidity around 78‑90 %.

Across much of the country BMKG expects mostly cloudy conditions on June 28, with light rain possible in cities such as Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, and an area of the Kepulauan Seribu, while many other regions remain partly cloudy or clear.

Separately, the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) reported that three regencies in Central Java – Klaten, Pemalang and Boyolali – are experiencing drought. About 2,500 families (8,300 people) in Klaten, 166 families in Pemalang and 42 families in Boyolali have been affected, prompting short‑term water delivery by tank trucks and urging residents to conserve water and collect rainwater where possible.
