The advance was driven by foreign inflows, strong performance of large‑cap banks, and renewed confidence after S&P Global Ratings kept Indonesia’s credit rating at BBB with a stable outlook. Traders also watched the upcoming Bank Indonesia Governor’s Meeting on interest‑rate policy and the pending approval of the International Financial Center law in parliament.

Regional indices moved variably, with Hong Kong’s Hang Seng up 2.10% and Shanghai’s Composite up 0.93%.
Overall, the market’s momentum reflects a mix of domestic policy expectations, sector‑specific strength, and broader geopolitical and monetary influences affecting emerging‑market capital flows.
