Indonesia's IHSG rises as bank and blue‑chip stocks gain

Analysts forecast the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) to climb on Monday, targeting a minor uptrend between 5,840‑5,870 before a possible correction. Technical indicators showed a neutral MACD and mixed Stochastics signals, while the market’s P/E ratio of 9.35 × remains attractive. Recommendations highlighted blue‑chip names such as PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia (AADI), PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya (AMRT) and PT Vale Indonesia (INCO) among others.

Bank stocks led the market rally on Friday, with PT Bank Central Asia (BBCA) jumping 4.37 % to Rp 6,050, followed by BMRI, BBNI and BBRI. Analysts noted the rebound stems from technical oversold conditions, seasonal July trends and selective foreign inflows, but warned it does not yet signal a full reversal of earlier outflows.
