Indonesia's Jakarta region and East Java forecast hot, partly cloudy weather on July 13

The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) issued forecasts for the Jakarta metropolitan area (Jabodetabek) and for East Java's Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Gresik on Monday, 13 July 2026. In Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi, conditions are expected to be mostly sunny to partly cloudy throughout the day, with night‑time clouds thickening. Temperatures will range from 20 °C to 34 °C depending on location, humidity between 34 % and 86 % and easterly to southeast winds of 5‑30 km/h.

In East Java, Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Gresik will also see clear to partly cloudy skies with no rain. High temperatures will reach 34 °C in Surabaya, 34 °C in Sidoarjo and up to 32 °C in Gresik, while lows stay around 25‑27 °C. Humidity will vary from 42 % to 86 % and winds from the east at 13‑25 km/h. Residents are advised to stay updated via official BMKG channels.
