Indonesia's Labor Ministry launches 15 certification schemes for MagangHub graduates

The Ministry of Labour (Kemnaker) and the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) are facilitating fifteen competency‑certification schemes for graduates of the national internship programme MagangHub. Minister of Labour Yassierli said certification “is an important instrument to ensure MagangHub graduates receive recognition for their skills and are better prepared to compete in the labour market.”

The schemes cover a range of industry‑required skills, including office administration, junior secretary, web‑development assistance, digital marketing, graphic design, single‑entity financial reporting, HR supervision, customer service, front‑office duties, computer operation, digital filing, audio‑visual production, data analysis, occupational safety and health (K3) and beginner‑level financial reporting. Implementation will be carried out by BNSP through its network of professional certification bodies in partnership with Kemnaker’s vocational training centres across Indonesia. A mapping of these centres shows capacity for 180 certification schemes nationwide, with major hubs in Makassar, Medan, Surakarta, Bekasi, Bandung, Semarang, Aceh, Padang, Samarinda, Kendari and many others.
