Indonesia's Ministry of Labor reports 95% disbursement of BSU stimulus
The Ministry of Labour (Kemnaker) announced that 95 percent of the 2025 Bantuan Subsidi Upah (BSU) wage‑subsidy programme has been realised, transferring Rp 9.63 trillion of the Rp 10.32 trillion budget to the targeted 15 million workers. The remaining 5 percent was not distributed because of data‑validation issues in the BPJS Labour database.
Kemnaker also highlighted the National Apprenticeship programme, which exceeded its goal with 102 percent coverage for 100 000 participants and a budget of more than Rp 300 billion. In addition, the Jaminan Kehilangan Pekerjaan (JKP) scheme for workers who lost jobs received a Rp 1.2 trillion allocation, benefitting about 17 million individuals. Overall, the ministry’s 2025 APBN utilisation reached 90.21 percent of the Rp 3.66 trillion received, while non‑tax state revenue (PNBP) hit 144.8 percent of its target.
