Indonesia's Ministry of Law to Digitize 470 Services Starting September 2026

On 4 August 2026, Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas announced that from September 2026, 470 services provided by the Ministry of Law will be accessible only through digital channels. The change is part of a broader digital transformation intended to deliver faster, easier and more efficient services to the public and businesses.

The policy is presented as a way to strengthen legal certainty and support the investment climate, with the government also pledging to review and deregulate rules that hinder investment. No fees will be charged for annual report approvals of limited companies until 31 December 2026. The announcement was made during a dialogue with the Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) in Makassar and was attended by other ministers and officials.
