Indonesia's OJK probes Solusiku loan platform over alleged collection violations

Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) has summoned PT Anugerah Digital Indonesia, the operator of the online lending service Solusiku, to provide clarification on complaints that the platform breached debt‑collection regulations. Consumers reported that collection actions may have contravened consumer‑protection principles, including the misuse of personal data and the disclosure of information to unauthorised parties.

OJK highlighted several compliance issues: adherence to legal requirements and internal SOPs, use of official company channels and numbers for collection, oversight of both internal and third‑party collectors, and protection of consumer data. The regulator has asked Solusiku to temporarily halt any collection activities that may be non‑compliant while the investigation proceeds and to submit relevant documents, data and an internal review of the alleged parties.

The request for clarification was first issued on 4 June, with OJK officials, including Agus Firmansyah, stating, “OJK masih melakukan pendalaman terhadap kebenaran dan kelengkapan informasi tersebut berdasarkan data, dokumen, dan keterangan dari pihak terkait.” Further statements were made on 7 June confirming the regulator’s continued scrutiny.
