PT PLN Says No Electricity Tariff Increase for June 2026 and Announces Bali Outages
Indonesia's state electricity company PT PLN (Persero) confirmed that the electricity tariff for non‑subsidised customers will remain unchanged for the April‑June 2026 period. Executive Vice President Gregorius Adi Trianto explained that any rise in household bills is likely due to higher consumption patterns, weather‑related demand or increased use of home appliances, not a price hike. The company also published the rates for 13 customer categories, ranging from Rp 1 122 to Rp 1 700 per kWh.
Separately, PLN scheduled temporary power cuts on 5 June 2026 in several locations across Bali, including the Monkey Forest area and the Hakadikon concrete plant, as part of routine network maintenance aimed at improving supply reliability.
