Indonesia's PLN Coordinates Power Supply for New Cooperatives and Schedules Maintenance Outages

PT PLN (Persero) in Yogyakarta is collaborating with Kodim 0730/Gunungkidul to verify and ready electricity connections for the Merah Putih village cooperatives slated for inauguration in August 2026, timed with Indonesia's 81st independence anniversary. The joint effort includes synchronising location data, assessing power needs and ensuring the network is prepared for a smooth launch.

Separately, PLN's UP3 Salatiga unit has announced planned maintenance on three‑phase distribution lines across several city districts from July 28 to July 30, 2026. The work, scheduled each morning between 09:00 and 12:00, may temporarily interrupt power supply to affected neighborhoods, and residents have been advised to avoid constructions near the lines and to ensure timely electricity bill payments.
