Pegadaian Bullion Bank Top Company award Gold Bank service Indonesia

PT Pegadaian (Persero) received the Top Company award in the Bullion Bank Industry at the Indonesia Top Companies Recognition 2026 ceremony held at The Westin Jakarta on 29 June. The award was accepted by the company’s Director of IT & Digital, Yos Iman Jaya Dappu, who said the recognition reflects Pegadaian’s commitment to product innovation and expanding gold‑based financial inclusion.

Pegadaian pioneered Indonesia’s first gold‑bank ecosystem after obtaining an OJK licence in December 2024 and launching the Gold Bank service on 26 February 2025, an event inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto. The service includes gold deposits, working‑capital loans, corporate gold custodial services and gold trading. By May 2026 the company managed 153.72 tonnes of gold across its bullion and pawn‑shop operations, supported by an international‑standard vault and the Tring! digital app for customer transactions.
