Indonesia's TASPEN Receives Rp153.6 Billion Recovered from KPK

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) handed over Rp153.6 billion (approximately $10 million) to PT Taspen (Persero) on 24 June 2026. The funds, seized from former Taspen director Antonius Kosasih’s corruption case, were transferred to Taspen’s BRI Giro account in Jakarta.

The hand‑over was conducted in a ceremony attended by Taspen CEO Rony Hanityo Aprianto and KPK asset‑tracking director Mungki Hadipratikto. It follows an earlier return of Rp883 billion on 20 November 2025, bringing the cumulative amount recovered for Taspen to over Rp1 trillion.

KPK also confiscated foreign‑currency assets related to the case, which will be converted to rupiah and used to offset the defendant’s compensation obligations.
