Indonesia's Vice Minister Ossy Dermawan inaugurates 78 civil service officials

On 17 July 2026, Vice Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning and Deputy Head of the National Land Agency, Ossy Dermawan, presided over the swearing‑in of 78 structural officials at the Ministry’s Prona Hall in Jakarta. The ceremony marked the latest phase of the ministry’s human‑resource reform, which emphasizes three “tour” approaches: rotation of duties, rotation of geographic assignments, and time‑limited tenures.

The newly appointed cadre includes eight senior officers and 70 administrative staff. Ossy emphasized that regular rotation and promotion “guarantee system‑based professionalism and serve as a vehicle for competence and career development of civil servants,” adding that adaptable, field‑experienced bureaucrats are needed to address rapidly changing public issues. He urged the appointees to uphold integrity, dedication and honesty in their new roles.
