Industrial exhibitions in Argentina highlight regional business growth

Regional industrial exhibitions in Argentina have highlighted local productive potential despite a challenging national economic climate.

In Comodoro Rivadavia, the Expo Industrial, Comercial y de Innovación Tecnológica concluded with over 120 participating companies. The event facilitated 740 scheduled business meetings during its first two days. Discussions focused on natural resources, the future of conventional hydrocarbons, and productive diversification, including insights from a Chilean delegation regarding mariculture. Organizer Domingo Squillace noted that the event exceeded expectations and serves to strengthen ties between sectors during difficult economic times.

In Malvinas Argentinas, the inaugural Malvinas Productiva exhibition brought together more than 80 companies, SMEs, and entrepreneurs. Mayor Leo Nardini emphasized the district's role as a significant industrial hub, noting that the area hosts over 700 companies across industrial parks. Nardini stated that Malvinas Argentinas contributes 1% to the province's gross product and aims to foster growth through collaboration with the private sector.
