Industrial Fires in Germany Damage Facilities, No Injuries Reported

On Monday morning two separate industrial fires broke out in Germany. In Neumünster, an alarm triggered a blaze in a warehouse storing electronic goods, batteries and plastics. About 100 firefighters from the professional and volunteer fire services, supported by a high‑capacity fan and a drone unit, contained the fire and prevented re‑ignition, though the hall suffered extensive damage.

In Luhe‑Wildenau, a company's external filter unit caught fire around 06:15. The fire was extinguished quickly, preventing spread to nearby structures. The incident caused damage estimated in the low five‑figure euro range and left no one injured. Police said no foreign culpability is suspected, and the cause remains under investigation.
