Industrial investments in Romania drive job creation in Oradea and Scoarța

Romania is seeing new industrial developments in the Gorj and Bihor regions. In Scoarța, the Mitropolia Olteniei is constructing a timber processing factory. Local Mayor Ion Stamatoiu stated that the facility is expected to begin operations in the spring of next year and is projected to create approximately 50 jobs for local residents and those in neighboring communes.

In Oradea, German manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull is investing approximately 25 million euros to build a new facility in the Eurobusiness IV Industrial Park. The project involves the construction of a 23,500-square-meter hall dedicated to producing semi-trailer chassis sub-assemblies and assembling complete vehicles. The investment is expected to create around 200 new jobs, with production scheduled to commence in 2028.
