Infiniti and Hyundai announce new SUV models for global markets
Infiniti has introduced the 2027 QX65 Autograph in Mexico, a premium SUV featuring a coupé-style fastback silhouette. The vehicle aims to balance sporty design with high-end comfort, offering features such as genuine leather upholstery with kimono-inspired stitching, open-pore wood details, and 64-color ambient lighting. This launch comes amid growth in the Mexican premium vehicle market, which saw a 9.7% increase in sales between January and July 2026. During that same period, Infiniti reported an 18% growth in its own sales, totaling 741 units.
Separately, Hyundai unveiled the new Bayon SUV at the Paris Motor Show. While the European version will be manufactured in Turkey, reports suggest the model may be produced in Brazil for a 2027 regional launch, positioned below the Creta. The Bayon features an angular design, dual 12.3-inch screens, and premium Bose audio. The European lineup will initially offer 1.0 T-GDI gasoline engines, with a 138 CV hybrid option planned for later release.
