Influencer Felca reveals social phobia diagnosis

Digital influencer Felipe Bressanim Pereira, known as Felca, has revealed a diagnosis of social phobia (social anxiety disorder) in a video marking his return to YouTube after a hiatus of over a year.

Felca detailed how eight years of physical and psychological bullying during his school years in Londrina contributed to his condition. He described severe symptoms, including elevated heart rates during public speaking and a history of using alcohol to cope with the fear of social interaction. He noted that he had become dependent on alcohol to attend events and social gatherings.

The influencer also shared how the trauma led him to abandon university to avoid classroom environments and how he spent months isolated at home following the backlash to a previous video regarding the exposure of children and adolescents online.
