Buenos Aires officials oversee infrastructure and university works
Infrastructure Minister Gabriel Katopodis and various local officials are supervising several public works projects across the Province of Buenos Aires. In Almirante Brown, efforts include the expansion of the National University of Almirante Brown (UNAB) with a new technical training building, improvements to Provincial Route 4, and drainage works in Glew to mitigate flooding.
In La Plata, authorities are managing three strategic projects: the restoration of the historic Teatro del Lago (Anfiteatro Martín Fierro) in the Paseo del Bosque, paving works on Avenida 155 in Melchor Romero, and the construction of a new 2.1 kilometer distributor in City Bell to connect Camino Parque Centenario with the Buenos Aires-La Plata Highway. The City Bell project, executed by AUBASA, is expected to benefit 36,000 users by improving regional connectivity.
Additionally, in Lanús, officials inspected the progress of a new municipal veterinary clinic and paving works on Avenida Hipólito Yrigoyen. In other regional developments, the municipality of Lincoln has begun street maintenance in the René Favaloro neighborhood, and the UTN Delta Regional Faculty, in collaboration with Bayer, concluded a professional training program for women in Zárate.
