Infrastructure and road paving projects underway in Manisa and Çorum

Local infrastructure projects are progressing in Manisa and Çorum, Turkey, focusing on road improvements and asphalt paving.

In the Ahmetli district of Manisa, Selanik Street in the Barbaros neighborhood has received its first hot asphalt coating through a collaboration between the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality and Ahmetli Municipality. Mayor Fuat Mintaş announced that following this completion, work will move to Fatih Street once MASKİ completes rainwater discharge line installations. Additionally, the municipality has completed 25 kilometers of surface coating on field roads to support local farmers.

In Çorum, AK Party Provincial Chairman Yakup Alar inspected the Eskiekin-Elmalı Group Road, where 32 million TL has been invested over the last two years. The project aims to modernize a 7.5-kilometer route, with 6 kilometers scheduled for hot asphalt paving this year. The upgrades are intended to resolve previous road deformation issues caused by heavy vehicle traffic and provide a safer, 7-meter wide transport standard for the villages of Eskiekin, Elmalı, and Hacı Müsa.
