Infrastructure and urban planning developments in Peru and Mexico

In Peru, the Maritza Campos Díaz health center improvement project in Cerro Colorado is facing significant delays. A report from the Comptroller General of the Republic reveals that as of May 2026, only 1.49% of the 162 million soles budget has been executed, falling far short of the 4.29% target. The project also lacks an approved schedule for the acquisition and installation of medical equipment.

In Mexico, Ciudad Madero is addressing infrastructure and urban planning needs. COMAPA Sur is currently rehabilitating 83.3 meters of sanitary infrastructure in the Monteverde neighborhood to resolve ground subsidence and improve drainage, with the work 60% complete.

Additionally, municipal planning workshops indicate that Ciudad Madero's population is projected to reach approximately 256,411 by 2050. This growth is expected to increase demand for housing, energy, and basic services, prompting local authorities and institutions to develop a Municipal Program for Territorial Ordering and Urban Development.
