Infrastructure concerns rise in Colleranesco and Villa Pozzoni

Residents and local stakeholders are calling for urgent infrastructure improvements along the route from Colleranesco to Bivio Bellocchio, passing through Villa Pozzoni. The area is facing chronic issues including heavy traffic congestion on State Road 80 and within the Industrial Nucleus, as well as significant safety risks for pedestrians and cyclists.

Recent incidents, including a fatal accident and a recent pedestrian injury that required hospitalization in Teramo, have heightened concerns. Proposed solutions include implementing modern safety systems, such as 'Zona 30' speed limits, speed cameras, speed bumps, and increased law enforcement presence.

Critics argue that relying on the completion of the Teramo-Mare project is an inadequate solution, noting that ANAS reports suggest the project could take at least 10 years to complete. Local residents, entrepreneurs, and transport operators are seeking more immediate alternative infrastructure projects to address these long-standing dangers.
