Infrastructure developments reported in Tudora and Copanca

In Tudora, Romania, local authorities are proceeding with road infrastructure improvements following the completion of a modernization project under the Anghel Saligny program. Mayor Constantin Cocoreanu announced that the municipality will begin asphalt paving for a 400-meter segment toward the Capul Cotului hamlet, a project scheduled after the completion of water networks. Additionally, the administration aims to extend an existing 3.4-kilometer bicycle path to cover more of the county road, potentially reaching the exit of the commune and the area near Joldești.

In contrast, road infrastructure projects in Moldova have faced significant delays and mismanagement. In Copanca, a project intended to repair a section of the Tighina-Copanca-Plop Știubei-Căușeni road with an investment of over 70 million lei has stalled, leading to the termination of the contract. Similarly, a 56 million euro investment for the national road toward Cahul remains unfinished despite original deadlines. Local residents report that poor road conditions are causing frequent vehicle damage and complicating the transport of students to school.
