Infrastructure improvements underway in Petorca and Magallanes
In Petorca, the municipality is implementing road safety measures in the Chimba Sur and La Polcura sectors. These interventions include the construction of over 100 meters of sidewalks and the installation of more than 20 streetlights along Route E-35. The project, a result of coordination with the Dirección de Vialidad and municipal investment, aims to improve pedestrian circulation and nighttime visibility, particularly near schools and for vulnerable populations.
In the Magallanes region, paving works are progressing on Miraflores Street, which will connect the Cerro Primavera sector with the 18 de Septiembre neighborhood. The project, funded by the Regional Government with 1,479 million pesos, includes a structural crossing over the Río de la Mano to manage water runoff. This infrastructure development is part of a broader urban plan involving various streets to improve territorial connectivity and public safety.
