Infrastructure projects advance in Oradea and Cluj

Infrastructure projects in Oradea and Cluj are reaching completion, aimed at improving industrial accessibility and traffic flow.

In Oradea, Augustin Maior Street, which connects Expressway 16 to Industrial Park I, has been fully paved. The modernization project, executed by PORR Construct, includes a 7-meter wide roadway, approximately 1,170 square meters of sidewalks, green spaces, updated rainwater collection systems, and new LED public lighting. The total value for the modernization of Augustin Maior and Mărgelelor streets exceeds 2.5 million lei.

In Cluj County, the underpass at Jucu is expected to be operational by November. The project, costing over 88 million lei (with over 57 million lei from PNRR funds), will provide a direct link between DN1C and the Tetarom III Industrial Park. The 233-meter underpass and its 900-meter connecting road are designed to reduce congestion and waiting times for companies operating in the industrial zone.
