Infrastructure redevelopment projects underway in Civitavecchia and Jesi

Various urban redevelopment projects are progressing in Italy. In Civitavecchia, there is a possibility of an extension until December 2026 for the redevelopment of the Piazza Regina Margherita market. This €3 million project is funded by the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan). While not yet official, a deadline extension would provide more time to complete the work, which is highly anticipated by local merchants currently operating from a temporary location.

In Jesi, officials from the municipality and Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (Rfi) met to discuss the ongoing renovation of the Jesi railway station. The project includes seismic upgrades, a redesign of the passenger building, and the removal of architectural barriers in the urban underpass. The underpass is expected to reopen by the end of this year, while the passenger building is scheduled for completion in 2027. Additionally, the municipality has allocated €100,000 for the improvement of the station's rear parking area.
