Infrastructure rehabilitation projects underway in Măureni and Bârlad
Various infrastructure rehabilitation projects are underway in Romania, focusing on community and educational facilities. In the Măureni commune, the Cultural Center in Șoșdea has been fully renovated following a project valued at over 1.5 million lei. The investment, supported by the Administration of the Environmental Fund (AFM) and local co-financing, included thermal rehabilitation, roof replacement, and interior and exterior modernization.
In Bârlad, a major seismic consolidation and restoration project is progressing at the Mihai Eminescu High School. Following the handover of sites C1 and C2 to contractors, Building A has now entered the rehabilitation phase. This large-scale investment, totaling nearly 35 million euros, was secured through the National Program for the Consolidation of Buildings with High Seismic Risk. The historic building, which includes administrative areas and laboratories, will undergo thermal rehabilitation and structural reinforcement to preserve its architectural heritage.
