Infrastructure upgrades boost real estate and tourism in Ho Chi Minh City region
Recent transport projects such as Ring Road 3, the Ben Lức‑Long Thành highway, new bridges Cát Lái and Phú Mỹ 2, and the Long Thành international airport are reshaping development patterns around Ho Chi Minh City. Nam Long Group is expanding its integrated urban portfolio along these corridors, with large‑scale projects including Waterpoint (350 ha near the HCMC‑Mekong Delta axis), Mizuki Park, Akari City, and Izumi City (170 ha in Long Hung, Đồng Nai). The company’s sale of a 15.1 % stake in Izumi City contributed significantly to its 2025 profit, underscoring the link between infrastructure progress and real‑estate value.
At the same time, the district of Cần Giờ is being positioned as a strategic tourism hub. Improved connectivity—especially the new Cần Giờ bridge and regional road upgrades—shortens travel time from central HCMC, encouraging longer stays and higher‑spending visitors. Authorities aim to develop upscale accommodation, conference facilities, and night‑time economies, targeting MICE and premium leisure markets while preserving the UNESCO‑recognized mangrove ecosystem and local cultural heritage.
