ING and Banca Mediolanum offer 4% interest rate promotions

Several Italian banking institutions are offering promotional interest rates on deposit accounts.

ING is promoting its ‘Conto Corrente Arancio Più’, a zero-fee current account that includes free transfers and withdrawals. Customers who credit their salary or receive monthly transfers of at least 1,000 euros can access a 4% gross annual interest rate for 12 months through the ‘Conto Arancio’ free deposit account. The interest is calculated daily and paid at the end of the year.

Banca Mediolanum is offering a 4% gross annual interest rate for six months on deposits up to 500,000 euros through its ‘SelfyConto’ online account. To qualify, new customers must open the account by October 30 and establish a deposit account by November 6, while also crediting their salary. A notable feature of this offer is that the interest rate remains unchanged even if funds are withdrawn early. The associated ‘SelfyConto’ current account features a free fee for the first year.
