Banca Mediolanum financial performance and product offerings
Overview
Banca Mediolanum reported significant commercial growth in the summer of 2026, achieving its best August on record with net inflows of 1.09 billion euros. This followed a record-breaking July, bringing total managed savings for the two months to over 2.3 billion euros. Despite this performance and year-to-date growth exceeding 8% compared to 2025, the company’s stock experienced a slight decline of approximately 0.8% on the Milan Stock Exchange in early September.
Historical financial data shows the bank reported a third-quarter 2025 net profit of 726 million euros, an 8% increase year-on-year. Management has signaled targets for 2026 that include double-digit growth in net interest income and a planned dividend of 0.60 per share.
In late September, the bank detailed a promotional offer for its Medyolanium Time Deposit via the SelfyConto online account. To qualify for the 4% gross annual interest rate on a six-month term, customers must open a SelfyConto account by October 30, subscribe to the deposit by November 6, and credit their salary to the account within seven days of the deposit’s expiration. The offer applies to deposits between 100 and 500,000 euros and allows for early withdrawal without the loss of accrued interest.
The SelfyConto account features a zero-fee monthly subscription for the first year, or indefinitely for customers under 30. After the initial period, a monthly fee of 3.75 euros applies unless waived by crediting a salary or maintaining monthly spending of at least 500 euros. Additional account benefits include free SEPA transfers, digital Mediolanum Mastercard debit cards, and free ATM withdrawals within Italy and the European Union.
