Ingolstadt city council election results announced
Election official Dirk Müller has announced the preliminary official results for the Ingolstadt city council election. Voter turnout was recorded at 47.0%, an increase from 45.76% in 2020.
The CSU (Christian Social Union) saw an increase in support, rising from 26.8% in 2020 to 30.3%, securing 15 seats. The AfD (Alternative for Germany) also experienced significant growth, increasing its share from 7.6% to 16%, which results in 8 seats.
Other party results include: - FW: 9.1% (5 seats) - SPD: 14.8% (7 seats) - Greens: 12.9% (6 seats) - Die Linke: 5.4% (3 seats) - FDP: 4.2% (2 seats) - UWG: 4.2% (2 seats) - ÖDP: 3.2% (2 seats)
The official final results will be formally established by the election committee during its meeting on Friday, March 27, following a review of candidate eligibility.
