Inha University selected for blockchain specialization program
Inha University has been selected for the 2026 Blockchain Specialized University Support Project, aimed at cultivating practical talent in the digital asset sector. The university, in a consortium with Incheon National University and Incheon Techno Park, is participating in this initiative promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
As part of the program, Inha University will establish a ‘Blockchain Digital Asset Micro-degree’ curriculum. This specialized, small-scale degree program is designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge ranging from blockchain theory and legal frameworks to technical practice and service implementation.
The university is also launching industry-academic cooperation projects involving five major companies: Hana Financial TI, Korea Digital Asset (KODA), NHN KCP, Upbit, and Yuga Labs. Students will work in teams to tackle real-world industry challenges, participating in the entire process from problem analysis and service design to prototype development and final presentation.
