Inha University technology specialization projects

Inha University has secured selection for two distinct government-led specialized academic projects focused on advanced technology training.

In early October, the university was chosen for the Artificial Intelligence Innovation Graduate School project by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Running through 2031, this initiative involves a total investment of 19.5 billion KRW to train experts in applying AI to manufacturing, logistics, and robotics. The program utilizes partnerships with companies such as KG Steel and Samsung Heavy Industries for technical verification.

Following this, the university was also selected for the 2026 Blockchain Specialized University Support Project, promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency. In collaboration with Incheon National University and Incheon Techno Park, Inha University will establish a ‘Blockchain Digital Asset Micro-degree’ curriculum. This program includes industry-academic cooperation with several firms, including Hana Financial TI and Upbit, to address real-world digital asset challenges.
