INPS reports 3 million young users for digital services

INPS President Gabriele Fava presented the results of the ‘INPS per i giovani’ project at the Meeting di Rimini, reporting that approximately 3 million young people under the age of 34 are now regularly using the institute's digital services.

One year after the project's launch, the dedicated ‘Portale Giovani’ recorded 3.3 million visits and 2.8 million unique visitors, with 1.7 million accessing services via the INPS mobile app. The initiative aims to improve social security education and welfare awareness by using accessible language and digital channels frequented by younger generations. Registrations for the MyINPS personal area among youth have increased by 12%, and about 20% of users arriving from the youth section proceed to use at least one specific service.

Fava also discussed future strategic directions, including a proposal for the institute to manage a ‘third pillar’ of pension systems to benefit younger workers. The project marks a shift in the institute's strategy toward identifying specific demographic groups with shared needs rather than just communicating individual services.
